Pottery by Betsy is the creative outlet of Betsy, a hobbyist ceramic artist hand-building functional pottery in Fletcher, North Carolina. After more than 30 years living in Western NC — and several years as publisher and owner of a local retirement guide — Betsy finally gave herself permission to get her hands dirty and see what would happen. Taught by a local artist and guided by plenty of trial, error, and bursts of creative energy, her approach is simple: it's just clay — if it doesn't work, start again. The result is food-safe pottery made for everyday living. Trays pull double duty as charcuterie boards, sushi plates, or a landing spot for keys and wallets. Pieces are meant to be used, enjoyed, and lived with — not tucked away. Come by, take a look, and say hello. Your support helps keep local art, local makers, and handmade traditions alive.
Splatter & Stitch (by the John Torres Family) features handmade, homey pieces that mix colorful art with cozy textiles.
